Hummous
The secret to this particular hummus is plenty of tahini and quite a few pickled jalapeno peppers.

Ingredients:

1 tin of chickpeas (freshly cooked ones are fab but tins are a lot faster) 1/3 cup (un hulled) tahini 3-5 cloves of garlic minced 1 big juicy lemon splash of tamari 1 tsp cumin pepper & salt 1-2 chopped up pickled jalapeno peppers or alternatively maybe 1/2 - 1fresh chilly hand full of fresh chopped coriander or parsley a little water as needed

Method:

A trick I recently learned is before you start, peel the garlic and put it in the blender whole and whiz it, then add the rest off the ingredients. Add water a little at a time, until you get the consistency that you like.
